Function
The X-Series Displacement Terminal provide a completely new method
of using Displacement Ventilation. The patented X-series nozzle has been
designed using 20 years of experience in the design and the use of
Displacement Terminals. They provide the following advantages:
Air direction from the panel can be changed without the use of any tools
or technical expertise. When the direction is modified, the air is still
supplied equally over the entire surface of the panel and the pressure
characteristic remains the same over time.
A main consideration in the use of Displacement Terminals with low
supply air temperature is the low floor
temperature which can be created
in a poorly designed system.
Due to the
higher level of a mix created by the X-Series nozzle, lower air
supply temperatures may be used and consequently the Displacement
Ventilation performs with higher load factors.
Construction/Design
The X-series are designed for multiple use. Built around
aluminium profiles the unit may rapidly be installed and easily
dismounted, would the internal duct cleaning be required. A shaped
edge takes away the uneven line normally created between the
wall/ceiling and the panel. With it's very rigid construction,
damage is highly unlikely but would it occur it is a simply measure
to change any section of the unit. Standard panel length is 2 metres
with the facility for a duct cover to fit for example between the
side of the panel and the wall.

Alternative design
- Special design for ceiling.
- Other types of X-Series are available: RVX is a shallow bow shaped panel, wall model. RAX is a half round wall model.
