Linear grilles, as the name suggests, are grilles where the aluminium section runs along the trench rather than across it. Two different sections are offered, 6mm and 3mm,(this refers to the width of the visible surface)and both can be used in floor, wall or ceiling applications. They can be manufactured at various pitches to change the proportion of free air to material.
The inherent problem with linear grilles has always been its strength, especially on wider applications where a variety of strengthening combs or angles have always had to be added to the casing increasing costs substantially. We now believe we have overcome this problem by using our exclusive strengthening profile (see top inset). This replaces the standard aluminium tube.
